Plant Description:
4 m tall, few branched, wispy; stems and trunk gray-brown; young stems yellow-green; fruit red; peduncle yellow-green; leaves shiny dk-green above, paler below.
Habitat:
Metrosideros-Crossostylis-Cyathea-Weinmannia w/ Freycinetia; interspersed w/ Hibiscus tiliaceus-Pandanus lowland wet forest.
Associated Species:
Pteridophytes & bryophytes are common terrestrial & epiphytic components.
