Tree 10 m. Leaves compound. Flowers orange, fragrant. Naturalized not planted. Bractioles +/- spreading, sometimes somewhat clasping; fringe of haris on bractioles a better match w/ specimens, thought a limited number of specimens and not [] strange find

Canopy: Metrosideros polymorpha, Psidium cattleianum, Psychotria mariniana, Heliocarpus papayensis. Understory: Cyrtandra dentata, Angiopteris evicta, Clidemia hirta, Cyclosorus parasiticus, Musa sp.
