Plant Description:
Shrub 2-3 m. tall with arching branches. Fruits green, submature. Occasional locally.
Habitat:
Remnant of dry forest, over recent (1801) a'a lava flow.
Associated Species:
With Diospyros sandwicensis dominant, also Colubrina, Canthium, Nototrichium, etc. with understory of introduced Pennisetum setaceum.
