Lower Limahuli Valley. Side gulch. Growing along left side of stream as you look up. About 8 feet down slope from A 0010.
Plant Description:
Smaller tree about 12 feet tall with many smaller root shoots.
Habitat:
Wet, mixed native and non-native, forest. About 80% canopy cover. Rocky bank on side of stream.
Associated Species:
W/ Pisonia sandwicensis, Cyrtandra spp., Freycinetia arborea, Psidium cattleianum, Spathodea campanulata, Clidemia hirta, Metrosideros polymorpha, Musa sp., Cyathea cooperi
Comments:
This is a HSPC focal species. Plant was flagged and tagged with number HIB WAI HAN LIM A 0011 but attached on a Psidium right next to it. One sterile voucher specimen and DNA material collected.
