Locality:
Up eastern side gulch of main Hanakapiai stream, before Hanakapiai falls. Then up secondary gulch to the right, then next smaller gulch to the right, on left side, just over the ridge starting to go over into the next gulch to the left, about 10 feet down ridge from B 0015.
Plant Description:
Tree with three main branches from about one feet above ground. First branching starts about 10 feet up from ground level. HIB WAI HAN IAI B 0016.

10-100 m2
Habitat:
Under partial canopy (about 10%) growing with mixed native and non-native plant species on rocky substrate with moderate slope.
Associated Species:
W/ Pisonia sandwicensis, Clidemia hirta, Lantana camara, Hedychium gardnerianum, Cyclosorus parasiticus, Cyrtandra confertiflora, Antidesma sp.
Comments:
This is a HSPC focal species. Plant was flagged and tagged with number HIB WAI HAN IAI B 0016. Two voucher specimens and DNA material collected. Tagged on tree.
