Plant Description:
Small tree 4 m. Leaves fleshy, thick. Flowers green in bud. Ripe fruits ovoid-ellipsoid, orange. Occasional.
Habitat:
Low mixed mesic forest over aa lava flow, with mostly native species.
Associated Species:
Dysoxylum, Fagraea, Elattostachys, Gymnosporia, Phyllanthus with understory of ferns including Neophrolopis.
