Locality:
Mahaulepu area of SE Kauai. Along cliffs just south of CMJ Country Stables. CAP SAN MAH A 0034. About 15 feet up from 0029.
Plant Description:
Large, prostrate sprawling shrub, about 7 x 7 feet diameter. Difficult to be certain whether it was a single plant or multiple. In bud, flower and immature fruit. CAP SAN MAH A 0034.

Habitat:
About 20 meters from edge of lithified sandstone cliffs. Windswept. Full sun. Lots of weeds, sprawling throughout Leucaena leucocephala and Lantana camara in particular.
Associated Species:
W/ Scaevola taccada, Leucaena leucocephala, Lantana camara, Prosopis pallida, Schinus terebinthifolius, Fimbristylis cymosa, Sida fallax, Branta sandvicensis, weedy grasses.
Comments:
This is a HSPC focal species. Plant was flagged and tagged CAP SAN MAH A 0034. A single voucher specimen and DNA collected. Difficult to be certain whether it was a single plant or multiple. Two immature fruits were bagged in a single wire mesh bag.
