Locality:
Mahaulepu area of SE Kauai. Along cliffs just south of CMJ Country Stables. CAP SAN MAH A 0021. At west end of population, up around the corner, about 4 feet, from 0001.
Plant Description:
Small shrub, about 3 x 3 feet diameter. In flower. CAP SAN MAH A 0021.
Habitat:
About 20 meters from edge of lithified sandstone cliffs. Windswept and full sun, mixed native and non-native vegetation.
Associated Species:
W/ Scaevola taccada, Schinus terebinthifolius, Leucaena leucocephala, Euphorbia degeneri, Branta sandvicensis, weedy grasses.
Comments:
This is a HSPC focal species. Plant was flagged and tagged with CAP SAN KA MAH A 0021. One voucher specimen and DNA material collected.
