Locality:
Asau Bay,small island north of Vaimoana Seaside Lodge, inside of fringing reef, remnant of old runway.
Plant Description:
Small tree 3 m tall. Corolla orange. Unripe fruits green. Scarce locally.
Habitat:
Coral rubble overlaying basalt outcrops, with shrubby coastal vegetation.
Associated Species:
Hibiscus tiliaceus, Dendrolobium umbellatum, Vitex trifolia, Heliotropium foetherianum, Canavalia rosea, Lepturus repens.
