Plant Description:
Small tree, about 15 feet tall. Sterile, with empty capsules. Vigorous.
Habitat:
Dry forest. Steep, crumbly, north facing slope of ridge. Open canopy.
Associated Species:
W/ Diospyros sandwicensis, Santalum pyrularium, Flueggea neowawraea, Polyscias racemosa, Metrosideros polymorpha, Chrysodracon aurea, Kalanchoe pinnata, Lantana camara, Grevillea robusta, Melia azedarach
Comments:
Vouchered and DNA material collected for IMLS Safeguarding Plant Collections grant. About 12 feet up slope and left from other Hib wai wai (SKW421).
