Bottom of small side gulch in Kawai Iki Valley.
Plant Description:
Large, two-trunk tree about 50-60 feet tall. In flower. Herbivory on leaves.
Habitat:
Very back and bottom of rocky, dry, small side gulch in Kawai Iki Valley. Sparse, relict native dry forest trees with weedy under story vegetation and ground cover.
Associated Species:
W/ Aleurites moluccanus, Psydrax odorata, Melia azedarach, Grevillea robusta, Carex wahuensis, Microlepia strigosa
Comments:
Collected a single, sterile voucher specimen and DNA for IMLS project.
