Plant Description:
Small tree about 3 m tall. Fruit collected off ground, a woody ovoid capsule, immature. Split open after collection, seeds kept. About 20 or more plants in the area, growing in a dense pocket, other individuals scattered. Saplings growing in dense shade. Other individuals noted elsewhere and higher in gulch.
Habitat:
Dry lowland forest.
Associated Species:
Growing among Aleurites moluccana, Sapindus oahuensis, Oplismenus hirtellus.
