Locality:
Round Top Drive; next to Boy Scout camp facility, on side trail cutting across a loop of the road.
Plant Description:
Tree, approx. 25 m tall, with large buttress roots. Leaves dark green above, whitish-gold below. Original tree probably planted, but now surrounded by hundreds of keiki in the area. Tree is 10 m off of trail.
Habitat:
Non-native dominated mesic to wet forest.
Associated Species:
Growing with Bischofia javanica, Toona ciliata, and Fraxinus uhdei with very little understory vegetation.
