Locality:
Mahaulepu area of SE Kauai. Along cliffs just south of CMJ Country Stables. About 7 feet up slope from 0005.
Plant Description:
Small, sprawling shrub. Prostrate, about 4x4 foot diameter spread. Feeble. In bud, flower and immature fruit. CAP SAN MAH A 0006.

In bud, flower and immature fruit
Habitat:
About 20 meters from edge of lithified sandstone cliffs. Windswept and full sun, mixed native and non-native vegetation.
Associated Species:
W/ Scaevola taccada, Leucaena leucocephala, Euphorbia degeneri, Branta sandvicensis, weedy grasses.
Comments:
This is a HSPC focal species. Plant was flagged and tagged with CAP SAN MAH A 0006. One voucher specimen and DNA material collected.
