Scattered trees, 10-15 ft. ht. with fruit, rare in area, also associated with Aleuites moluccana, Psidium guajava, Lantana camara, Nephrolepis exaltata
Habitat:
In Diospyros mesic forest.

with Metrosideros, Psychotria marianiana, Psydrax odorata, Hibiscus kokio ssp. st. johnianus, Freycinetia, Alyxia, Rauvolfia, Pritchardia cf. napaliensis, Pteralyxia kauaiensis, Pouteria, Bobea, Charpentiera elliptica, Myrsine fosbergii, Wikstroemia, Ochrosia kauaiensis, Cordyline.
