Plant Description:
Tree of 20 ft. leaves dark glossy green above (young leaves with white hairs), below pale green with white scales. Stems whitish. Fruit dark green with greyish-white pubescence; pitch white; seed dark brown to reddish-brown. Eight to 21 seed/fruit. PTBG acc. #881465
Habitat:
Diverse forest of Metrosideros, Xylpsma, Nestegis and Cryptocarya.
