Locality:
Huelo Islet, 150 m offshore, 2-3 kilometers east of Kalaupapa.
Plant Description:
northern plant, 1.5 m long, 7 cm dbh with exposed roots threatened by erosion, leaves medium green, smooth above, golden lanate, or glabrous below with tan-brown stems, only two immature fruit observed, perhaps gynodioecious.
Habitat:
Pritchardia coastal mesic forest.
Associated Species:
With Diospy- ros, Psydrax, Chamaesyce celastroides var. amplectens, Scaevola sericea, Wikstroemia uva-ursi, Carex wahuensis, Mariscus phleoides, Eragrostis variabilis, Dianella sand- wicensis.
