Plant Description:
Large shrub of 10 ft. in open, flat area between two streams; stem and petiole faintly yellow-green; leaves dark dull green above, pale green below; flower spikes cream colored.
Habitat:
Metrosideros dominated wet forest.
Associated Species:
with Dicranopteris, Diplazium, Cyanea, and Antidesma with Rubus, Psidium, and Pluchea.
