Plant Description:
Large sprawling tree with lateral trunk on ground and several upright trunk branches, Flower petals white, staminal column red, slight sent at 4pm. Leaves with chew holes and hairs below. Bud pink. Ipomea vine covering part of canopy. Up to 16 ft tall. First tree along stream. Cuttings LC # 20160080

W/ Canopy of Hibiscus waimeae subsp. hannerae, Aleutites moluccana, Pisonia umbellifera, Metrosideros, Spathodea campanulata and mid-story with Charpientieria densiflora,Psychotria mariniana, Bobea elatior, Psydrax, Alyxia, Psidium guajava, Cordyline, Pipturus, Piper methysticum, Hedyechium, and understory with Clidemia, Oplismenus, Blechnum, Ageratina riparia, Cyrtandra confertiflora, Rubus rosifolius, Colocasia esculenta, Elephantopus mollis, Phaius tancarvilleae, Christella, ferns and mosses.
