On rocks at base of cliffs N of Polihale beach.
Plant Description:
1m tall shrub; main stems appear clipped or browsed back significantly reducing size of plant; fruit bright yellow with orange flesh, pendant, dehisced splitting into three segments splayed open facing ground with 8-10 seeds clinging on; leaves somewhat fleshy, grayish green.
Phenology:
Only one fruit observed.
Habitat:
Dry seaside cliff.
Associated Species:
Myoporum sandwicense, Ricinus communis,Ficus sp., Leucaena leucocephala
