Plant Description:
Vine growing in open area; flowers white with purple centers; fruits green; aril yellow. N.V. Pom pom [Pohnpeian].
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Fruits: Edible. To drink, pick fruit, cut in half - take aril, scrape into cup of water, add sugar, stir with spoon.
Habitat:
Secondary forest (Nansapw), being cut for agroforestry plot.
