Plant Description:
Tree of 12 ft., leaves dark, more or less glossy green above dull grey-green below, young leaves tinged maroon, petiole, rachis, young stems tinged maroon; calyx & buds scarlet; petals lilac w/ narrow white margins and base; fruit 5-6 ribbed, 4-4.25 inches long X 3 inches wide, waxy pale yellow-green with darker green along edge of ribs, ripening waxy yellow-orange, flesh crisp, sweet-sour.
