Plant Description:
Herb 0.5-1 m tall, single stem succulent, swollen basally, sap clear. Leaves discolorous, glaucous beneath; stipules fimbriate. Inflorescence terminal, the branches orange-red; perianth bright orange-red, anthers orange-yellow. Occasional in cultivation.
