Locality:
Mt. Ha'upu. Northeast facing slope on NE side. In front of large rock face below KAD FLU HUL C 0002 and 0003.
Plant Description:
About 3 feet tall. Upper sides of leaves glossy. Flowers tubular, white.
Phenology:
In bud, flower and fruit
Habitat:
Side of steep, NE facing slope. Rocky substrate.
Associated Species:
W/ Metrosideros polymorpha, Bidens valida, Dicranopteris linearis, Melinis minutiflora, Polyscias bisattenuata, Antidesma sp., Machaerina angustifolia
Comments:
This is a HSPC focal pilot species. Plant was flagged and tagged with number 'KAD FLU HUL C 0004'. One voucher, DNA and seeds were collected (half to nursery, half to storage). NTBG accession #20150913.
