Plant Description:
About 5 feet tall. Upper sides of leaves glossy. Flowers tubular, white.
Phenology:
In bud, flower and fruit
Habitat:
Side of steep, NE facing slope. Rocky substrate. Under canopy of Polyscias bisattenuata.

W/ Melastoma septemnervium, Metrosideros polymorpha, Polyscias bisattenuata, Myrsine sp., Melinis minutiflora, Dicranopteris linearis, Psychotria sp., Antidesma sp., Bidens valida, Spathoglottis plicata, Freycinetia arborea
Comments:
This is a HSPC focal pilot species. Plant was flagged and tagged with number 'KAD FLU HUL C 0003'. One voucher, DNA and seeds were collected (half to nursery, half to storage). NTBG accession #20150914.
