Plant Description:
Tree 6m, bark blackish, new leaves reddish. Fruits green, submature. Locally abundant on slopes.
Habitat:
Steep, rocky slopes w/ secondary forest.
Associated Species:
Psidium guajava, Syzygium malaccense, and native remnants including Diospyros sandwicensis, Metrosideros, and Nestegis, with understory of Kalanchoe pinnata and Zingiber zerumbet.
