Plant Description:
4 m tall, many branched tree; trunk & stems black or brown- black; mature fruit yellow; dominant in diverse forest.
Habitat:
Diverse dry to mesic forest & cliffs.
Associated Species:
w/ Flueggea neowawraea, Bobea timonioides, Hibiscadelphus distans, Euphorbia haeleeleana, Nesoluma, Nototrichium, Schiedea spergulina, Panicum lineale & P. beechyi, Bonamia.
