Locality:
North facing slope of Mahanaloa Valley.
Plant Description:
Tree, 6 m tall. Black trunk. Fruit orange when ripe. Seed accessioned with Living Collections (080787).
Habitat:
Good patch of diverse native mesic forest.
Associated Species:
Diospyros spp and Euphorbia haeleleana dominant with Nestegis sandwicensis, Pisonia, Pleomele aurea and Psydrax oderata. Some Lantana camara and Grevillea also present.
