Plant Description:
Canopy tree 25 m, trunk 80 cm dbh, with basal buttresses 5-6 m wide. Fallen fruits fleshy, reddish; germinating seedlings collected. Seed collection for NTBG.
Habitat:
Swamp forest, soil inundated daily
Associated Species:
With Terminalia carolinensis dominant canopy tree, also Horsfieldia nunu, Barringtonia racemosa, & Neubergia celebica, understory of Scirpodendron ghaeri and ferns.
