Plant Description:
Tree 8 m x 25 cm dbh, bark smooth, gray. Lvs. dark green glossy above. Rami- and cauliflorous, calyx dark green, outer petals green without, greenish-cream within, inner petals cream color, stamens and stigmatic cap cream turning brown. Fruit (not collected) light green w soft spines, ovoid, c. 25-30 x 15-20 cm, with sweet, white, cotton-like pulp, seeds tan. NTBG acc. 980468003
