Ethnobotanical Notes:
Fruits: Antiulcerogenic. Eat the ripe fruit for ulcers. Seeds: Anthelmintic. Eat seeds for the stomach worms. Stems: Analgesic. For toothaches. Scrape the stem and put a few drops of the sap from the stem onto the aches to relieve the pain. Flowers: Analgesic. For headache. Pick a handful of flowers and pound in a cloth and then smell it to relieve a headache. Informant: Kineuo Eliou, Pohnpei, 58 years old.
