Plant Description:
Papaya, stem 10 cm in diameter, 4m tall, flowers whitish, fruits greenish.
Ethnobotanical Notes:
Sap Antidiarrheal. Cure bloody diarrhea. Take four drops in a cup of water, stir it until it turns white in color. Drink and take this amount of medicine everyday until you are cured. Informant: Akio Bernardo, Pohnpei.
Sap Antipruritic. To cure a type of skin disease called Kilinkutuwa. This type of skin disease is round, rough and very itchy. Take the sap of a fruit. Place it on the skin disease. Informant: Akio Bernardo, Pohnpei.
