Plant Description:
Sprawling shrub anchored in lithified dunes. Leaves dark, dull green above, paler, dull below, slightly glaucous. Flowers very fragrant; petals white fading pale yellow; stamens numerous, filaments white, anthers gray. Locally common. Voucher for VA mycorrhizae study (Gemma and Koske #934).
Habitat:
Scrub vegetation over lithified dunes.
Associated Species:
With Scaevola sericea, Sida fallax and Ipomoea indica.
