Locality:
Along Highway 19 by turnoff to Natural Energy Laboratory, at approx. 1 mile south of Keahole Airport (Kona).
Plant Description:
Low, spreading shrub 1 m. tall. Flowers sweetly fragrant, stamens and corolla white, fading pinkish. Occasional locally.
Habitat:
Lava field covered with introduced grasses and scattered shrubs.
