Single stemmed shrub of 5 ft.; leaves glossy green above w/ whitish-green midvein, below very pale green, glossy w/ whit ish-green midvein; inflorescence axillary; hypanthium pale g reen at base, purple tinged in upper half; calyx lobes green
Habitat:
Secondary forest on east side of valley.
Associated Species:
dominated by Psidium, Cordyline, Freyc inetia and Cyanea, with Rauvolfia and Hibiscus.
