Shrub of 6 ft., branched from base and leaning out over road ; leaves dark green above, paler below; base of corolla tube dark purple fading to lighter purple just above, finally be coming white at apex; lobes white. Stamens dark purple,
Habitat:
Secondary forest dominated by Metrosideros and Albizia.
