Locality:
Waioli Valley, upper part below and east of main waterfall. Entire area badly damaged by Hurricane Iniki.
Plant Description:
Unbranched treelet 2.5 m X 4 cm (reaches 4 m tall), latex wh ite, leaves green, discolorous. Corolla tube purple at base, white distall, staminal tube purple, fruit green. Locally c ommon, 40-50 plants seen (410 m).
Habitat:
Lowland wet forest.
Associated Species:
with Metrosideros, Dicranopteris, Antidesma & Syzygium.
