Locality:
Along coastal road 3.7 km north of Lelu Island causeway.
Plant Description:
Large tree 12-14 m, trunk 1.2 m dbh, with large, spreading crown. Leaves dark green, latex yellow. Fruit green, brown when ripe, corky mesocarp surrounding seed. Seedlings vouchered. Seed collected for NTBG.
Habitat:
Remnant of coastal forest over coral sand.
Associated Species:
With Calophyllum inophyllum, Barringtonia asiatica, and Cocos.
