Plant Description:
3 m tall, with 5 branches, flowers black-purple, hermaphro, 50% of the day in shade, single plant observed, north moderately steep slope.
Habitat:
Metrosideros-Acacia montane mesic forest with patches of diverse mesic.
Associated Species:
Alphitonia ponderosa, Psychotria greenwelliae, Melicope ovata & M. barbigera, Pouteria sandwicensis, Tetraplasandra kauaiensis, Dodonaea viscosa, Wikstroemia furcata, & Styphelia tameiameiae.
