Plant Description:
3-4 m tall, many branched tree; trunk gray, 10-15 cm dia; branching at 1 m, 2-3 times, following with many branchlets; upright stems gray; young stems yellow-green; leaves translu sent dk-green; mature fruit black-purple.
Habitat:
Coastal sea cliffs w/ dry to mesic coastal forest pockets.
Associated Species:
Bidens, Glochidion, Psydrax, Leptochloa xerophila, Peperomia, Pisonia grandis, Cerbera menghas, Coffea arabica, Aleurites, Nephrolepis understory, Ficus prolixa.
