Plant Description:
Erect (0.3 m tall) perennial herb with bluish waxy leaves and small thorns on most surfaces. When the plant is broken it produces a yellow latex sap. Flowers are relatively large (6-8 cm) and round with white petals. The anthers, stamens, and pistil are yellow. The small round black seeds are borne in prickly 3 cm long capsules.
