Plant Description:
Scattered throughout understory of forest and on cliff walls; in flower.
Medicial Use Notes:
'Lepidium, Nestegis, Hibiscus kokio, Eragrostis, Santalum, Myrsine, Acacia, Flueggea, Canthium, Pleom ele, Diospyros, Psychotria. Major threats: Psidium, Erigeron, Lantana, Kalanchoe, Blechnum, Nephrole pis, Verbena, land slides. Elev. 550-670 m. '
Habitat:
Lowland diverse mesic forest.
Associated Species:
W/ Gouania, Peuceadanum, Poa mannii, Hedyotis sp. nov. , Lysimachia glutinosa, Melicope pallida, Nototrichium sp. n ov. and N. sandwicense, Dubautia sp. nov., Dryopteris, Metro sideros, Lipochaeta subcordata, Lobelia niihauensis.
