Locality:
Lihue-Koloa Forest Reserve. Along ridge ESE of Pu'u Kolo. Elev. 1200-1700 ft.
Plant Description:
Tree of 10 ft. Leaves dark, glossy green above with whitish- green midrib, below paler with obvious veination; corolla lo bes greenish-white, tube pale green. Fragrant. Locally commo n (ca 1280 ft.)
Habitat:
Lower ridge in diverse forest with rather stunted vegetation on the windward slopes of the ridge.
Associated Species:
Metros ideros, Acacia, Canthium, Cyanea, Bidens, Myrine and Dicrano pteris.
