Locality:
Koai`e Canyon, below "the fingers" near the ridge and above north facing cliffs west of Lonomea Camp and Kawai`iki and east of Hipalau.
Plant Description:
Tree about 25 ft. tall w/ few flws. and many buds. Lvs. clustered at terminal ends of stems, dk. green w/ thick yellow midrib and obvious parallel secondary veins. Flowers samll, white, tubular.
Habitat:
Diospyros-Metrosideros Mesic Forest.
Associated Species:
w/ Acacia Koaia, Spermolepis, Bobea timonioides, Munroidendron, Nesoluma, Myrsine lanaiensis, Artemisia, Pleomele.
