Locality:
Wild source plant in cultivation at NTBG, Lawai Valley, Medicinal Section, across from Ruizia. This plant was grown from wild origin seed collected by Art Whistler in Guam, he describes it as a coastal forest tree.
Plant Description:
Small tree ca 2.15 m ht., lvs whorled, oblanceolate-oblong, acute at apex, 10-15 cm x 1-1.5 cm, dark, glabrous green above, pale below. Stems produce sap. Fruit fleshy, bright reddish-orange, 2 twinned, compressed, obovoid, drupes keeled at the margins with 2 woody seeds in each fruit. Flowers immature.
