Plant Description:
Understory liana. Leaves opposite to whorled, dark green. Ripe fruit black and shiny. White sap.
Habitat:
Degraded native forest.
Associated Species:
Pandanus tectorius, Metrosideros polymorpha, Diospyros sandwicensis, Santalum, and Bobea mixed with Clusia, Schefflera actinophylla. Clidemia hirta and Dicranopteris linearis dominant ground cover.
