Along Mako Ridge SSE on road/trail heading towards Tumu Mountain. Elev. 600-750 ft.
Plant Description:
Vine in Decaspermum; leaves dark glossy green above, sometimes black except for along midrib, below dull pale green; in bud corolla tube orange, lobes yellow green; fruit glossy black, 1 cm long, 8.5 mm wide. NTBG acc. #990586.
Habitat:
Disturbed forest.
Associated Species:
Hibiscus, Adenanthera, Euodia, Calophyllum, Faradaya, Myristica, Morinda, Flacourtia, Alyxia, Freycinetia, and Dicranopteris.
