Annual in flower and early fruit; ca 50 plants [mapped] growing in 100m x 10m area with open canopy near ridge crest in brown-black soil on northern [20 deg.] slope.

Diospyros, Dodonaea, Psychotria mariniana & P. greenwelliae, Acacia koa, Kokia kauaiensis, & Euphorbia haeleeleana.
