Plant Description:
Tree of 12 m.; leaves dark glossy green above with whitish- green midvein, below dull grey-green with pale green midvein corolla tube cream, lobes white, very fragrant; fruit orange with numerous small black seeds. Seed collected.
Habitat:
Tropical evergreen forest.
Associated Species:
Calophyllum, Rhus, Wikstroemia, Pouteria, Maca- ranga, Astronidium, and Alphitonia.
