Lawai Valley. Cultivated plants of the National Tropical Botanical Garden. Native Hawaiian plant area, uppere section (Sect. 9).
Plant Description:
Shrub 1.5 m, densely branching. Leaves and twigs silvery- green. Inflorescences, flowers and fruits green, outer bracts scarious. Cultivated (from seed collected at Barber's Point, Oahu). Status: endangered.
